About
I am a registered Counselling Psychologist with a deep commitment to helping people understand themselves and create meaningful, lasting change. My work is grounded in a psychodynamic approach, which focuses on exploring the underlying patterns and relational dynamics that shape our thoughts, emotions, and behaviours—especially those that feel difficult to shift.
I have worked across a range of settings, including child and adult hospital environments, as well as drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres. These experiences have given me the opportunity to support a diverse group of clients in both the public and private sectors, working with a wide variety of emotional and psychological difficulties. I have also been involved in academic settings, supervising student and intern psychologists.
Since 2010, I have been in private practice, working with individuals, couples, and children. I offer a thoughtful, collaborative, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore their inner world, develop insight, and move towards greater wellbeing and more fulfilling relationships.
“When I have been listened to and when I have been heard, I am able to re-perceive my world in a new way and to go on. It is astonishing how elements that seem insoluble become soluble when someone listens, how confusions that seem irremediable turn into relatively clear flowing streams when one is heard.” Carl R.
